专家简介：

Present Professional Position: 2006-now，Professor, Chair of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Institute of Plant Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Department of Biology, University of Münster, Germany.

Current Research Interests：Dr. Hippler’s research is aimed to understand plant cell responses and adaptation strategies to environmental stresses. He and his colleagues are mainly using the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as a model system and combining molecular techniques like reverse genetics and proteomics to elucidate the molecular mechanisms which are involved in assembly, function, maintenance and regulation of the photosynthetic machinery in oxygenic chloroplast photosynthesis.

Dr. Hippler’s research papers are published in the journals such as Plant Cell, EMBO, PNAS and Nature. Currently he is an editorial board member of Journal of Biological Chemistry; Frontiers in Plant Proteomics; International Journal of Proteomics;Current Chemical Biology.
